Why It Should Get Picked Up:

Are you fed up with protagonist who reincarnated by accident, and coincidently become the savior or conqueror of another world? Here comes another choice - A passionate adventurer who struggled to live for nothing more than a sole wish: to explore and enjoy the view that no one has been seen before.

HardGuys Bizarre Adventure is a Japanese-style light novel written by Yawaramura Nakaba (Simplified Chinese: 和村中叶 hope I get it right XD), who is experienced in exploiting old-fashioned netas with brand-new perspective. With the unique casual-yet-compact story telling style, readers will be readily fascinated by, and eventually embraced with this brave-new world that has never ever been seen elsewhere before.

Frankly I have to say is that I was shocked with this title at the first glance. The word Hardguy is absolutely Chinglish, I bet the author was intended to write Tough guy... but thats what catch my eye and I think it’s ok. After all, its still better than MTL novels translation,

The main story is based on the experience of an ordinary high-school guy, who got hit by a car and accidently reincarnates into an alternate world. Decided to be an adventurer, he adapts himself and explore this unique world as well as its profound and magnificent history.
All seems déjà-vu, but as I read, new experiences emerge. The alternate world is similar to MMORPG, but not equal to it. Yes, there are auxiliary characters who was born in that world, but no, they are not NPC, they have their emotions and stories just as protagonist do. Beside these local people, there are other reincarnated adventurer who arrived after their own death. Its a fantasy world for people want to live a second chance.

I often surfing on Chinese light novel sites and I’ve seen a lot of stories crammed with "Gender shift” “Sister" "Pretty girls" "Invincible" contents, but this one is totally different. On the recommendation section of SFACG (they called themselves the biggest Chinese light novel site, the top 3 tags are “Alternate world adventure" "Full of commonsense" "So many adventurers"(Corresponding to 异世界冒险/充满常识/勇者很多in Simplified Chinese, respectively.). Instead of focus on killing and saving the world (and in some “cases”, make pretty girls become protagonist’s wives), the author is try to describe how ordinary live and explore, which gives me a fresh impression on this novel.

I can do a little translation by myself. However, as Chinese is not my native language and machine translation feed me no more than fragments of word, I sincerely desired for a proper translated version.
